[title]Después de mucha espera, por fin conocemos a los nominados a los Óscar de este año y hay muchas buenas noticias para cintas como The Power of the Dog y Dune. El neowestern de Jane Campion obtuvo 12 nominaciones, incluida Mejor película, mientras que la epopeya de ciencia ficción de Denis Villeneuve recolectó asentimientos como un cosechador de especias, incluyendo Mejor película, Mejor fotografía y Mejor edición, entre sus diez nominaciones.
También hubo amor por Belfast de Kenneth Branagh, que fue nominada en siete categorías, y la polarizante sátira sobre el cambio de cliente de Adam McKay, Don't Look Up. La película de Netflix obtuvo cuatro nominaciones, incluida la de Mejor película. Será un competidor importante en esa categoría, incluso si McKay perdió una nominación a Mejor director y Leonardo DiCaprio una nominación a Mejor actor.
